Hi, I'm Julie Belew and I'm a chick who edits podcast. I'm here to help make your podcast experience easier by providing you with affordable post-production and editing services. You can focus on the content and building your audience while I take care of the tedious chore of editing and mixing. Why waste time editing audio when you could be doing something more productive? I started working with audio will truly, when I was five and recorded every song I knew on cassette tapes, but my experience comes from working in broadcast radio for over 25 years.

I loved learning to splice and edit with reel tape and razors and eventually using the amazing technology that has come along since. I was a program director for several radio stations and oversaw the production departments as well as other staff. But the hours I spent in production rooms all by myself, creating audio that would excite people and entertain listeners was the best time. You know, how time flies when you're having fun? That's how I feel with editing podcasts and other audio. Something just happens to the time. It disappears.

I've been listening to podcasts grow and explode over the last decade. I know what works and what doesn't, and I'd be glad to coach you towards what works. I've got decades of experience with interviews from my time in radio, and I'm happy to share tips and tricks to help your interviews become engaging conversations that keep your audiences coming back. One tip is to be as uniquely you, as you can. I want to partner with you and give you the best sounding podcast around, because if you sound good, so do I!

We'll shoot for starting out with great audio, but don't worry if it isn't. I enjoy the challenge of removing unwanted noise, words, and phrases, fixing volume levels, and keeping your dialogue flowing. Take a listen to some examples of podcasts I've produced on my examples page.

My personal podcast is a limited series I'm producing in an NPR style, Rape, the Podcast. It's about how my community is improving how we respond to victims of sexual assault. It's a heavy topic, but the impact I feel like I'm having with respect to bringing hope and courage to victims has truly been life altering. I'm editing a few other shows and I'd love for you to check them out while you're here.
